A Lesson in Tolerance - Museum of Tolerance
On August 3rd, Several Gentlemen and Youth Ambassadors headed to the Museum of Tolerance where they were able to see a completely new perspective of what can happen to a person when things become troublesome. After we grabbed some pizza and spoke about what we learned.
A Day in the Park with Some Gentlemen - Farnsworth Park
On July 10th we had several Gentlemen and students from the youth program show up for a lesson on teamwork. Through conversation and a few games of basketball and football, we practiced the act of teamwork before coming together for a cookout.
Going for a Gentlemen's Run - Griffith Observatory
On June 15th we had our first outing with the Youth Ambassadors and it was truly an amazing experience. We took the Ambassadors up to see the Griffith Observatory and then hiked to the top of the mountain. Gentlemen's Agenda will be working with and mentoring the Ambassadors throughout the summer to prepare them for the leadership role that they will assume once the fall semester starts up and the full mentorship program is rolled out.
Gentlemen's Agenda Assembly at John Muir High School - Pasadena, CA
Representing the Gentlemen's Agenda on April 16th 2012, Jonathan Gorski, Ashlee Brian, and Tremale Berger were able to speak to 60 students at John Muir High School about the expansive effect that becoming a Gentleman has on being a truly happy person and at the same time finding ways to do what you're passionate about daily.
